AUDITIONS
The Music Enrichment Program will offer 3 Orchestra levels and 2 Adult Ensembles in the 2023/24 Season.
All string instruments (violin, viola, cello, and bass) are welcome in ALL of our ensembles!
Orchestra 1 & Adult Ensembles
Auditions are not required for these levels.
Please email Miriam if you have questions about joining either of these orchestras.
Orchestra 2
Orchestra 2 still has room for cello and bass!
You are asked to complete an informal Audition to join this Orchestra.
- Play a 2 octave scale of your choice
- Play a piece of your own choice (approximately grade 3 RCM)
- Play a simple piece of sight reading (provided at the audition)
- Please email Patricia if you have questions about joining Orchestra 2.
Advanced “Fiddlinists” Group
New members must complete an Audition to join this Group (in-person or via video).
- Play two contrasting pieces of your own choice (approx. RCM 4)
- Play the following two-actave scales: D major, G major, B-flat major
- Please email Daniel if you would like to join the Fiddlinists.
